The CR source is very good. We first bore the border using `bore`, and then we descale the anime using `vskernels.Lanczos(2)` via `vsscale.Rescale`. We use a custom error based mask during descale to protect the credit. After descale there is no noticeable halo or aliasing at all. So we simply apply a `MVTools` guided denoise based on `bm3d`, and then we send the video to the encoder. For the encoding, this anime is a little bit hard. This anime has a lot of sharp edges, which makes it prone to mosquito noise. But it also has a lot of weak lineart, which is prone to being smoothed out by CDEF or similar methods. For some reasons we managed to push all the way to `--crf 12.80` on 5fish/SVT-AV1 v2.3.261005 while still keeping the encode at roughly 550 MiB. With `--lineart-psy-bias 6 --texture-psy-bias 4` as a base, we opt for `--psy-bias-sharpness-rounding 56` to reduce mosquito noise. We tune DLF via `--dlf-sharpness 7`, and disable CDEF via `--enable-cdef 0`. At last, we apply a light layer of Simplex inspired medium coarseness grain on top.
